Dr. Hicswa

I graduated from Michigan Stateís College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995.
I spent my first year practicing at a small animal hospital in Saline, Michigan. Then in the summer of 1996 I started working for a large practice on the east side of Grand Rapids. During this time I developed an interest in internal and feline.

After having my second child, I took sometime off to devote to family.
Then I decided to rejoin the work force on a part time basis. Having kept in touch with Dr. Banks since veterinary school, it seemed a perfect fit when he was looking for some part time help at Northland Animal Hospital.
I immediately felt at home working with the great support staff and enjoy the client and their pets.

In my time away from the clinic I live in Middleville with my husband Tim (also a veterinarian) a very friendly and large Bullmastiff, Chesapeake Bay Retriever, 8+ cats, and three wonderful children.
